NZ Maori history

In integrated Studies the class has been searching about the New Zealand history and i decided to do The battle of the mountains. i already knew a lot of this i found this quite interesting.

How Te Maro was killed

 I the 17th century Captain Cook and his party arrived to New Zealand when a few british were looking around and well they were looking around they seen these men walking around that didn’t look like them so the Maori walked toward and there was one British that was holding a gun and when the Maori people got closer he shot two warning shots and once Te Maro the Maori man in the front got closer the british with the gun, shot Te Maro in the heart and died.

Tin poem

At first when we started our poems we did some poems about the colour blue just to warm us up, and then we got to chose an object to make a poem about to make these poems. We then had to come up with 40 sticky words and then chose 20 words out of them. When we finished that, we had to  cut up some paper then we wrote our 20 best word on them and made a draft. Then we put our anagram of our real one as the title and we had to colour in the back to make them look pretty good. Lastly Miss sent them to a Chelsea School for them to read and that what we did to make these anagrams on these pieces of card.
